From the Home Screen: Locate the “create an operation” shortcut.
Alternative Access: Open the left side menu bar and select “Periodic Operations” to view all current, scheduled, and assigned operations, or create a new one using the options on the right.
Step 2: Choose the Operation Type
Operation Category: Decide whether you want to schedule a technical or periodic operation.
Select Your Operation: For periodic operations, click the “Periodic” option and proceed by clicking “Next” to access the operation details.
Step 3: Select the Specific Operation
Choose Operation Function: From the options provided, select one of the following:
Fertigation
Spraying
Irrigation
Planting
Example: If you choose “Fertigation,” you might select a subtype (e.g., Conventional) before moving to the next step.
Step 4: Enter Operation Details
Name Your Operation: Provide a descriptive name (e.g., “Grape Fertigation”).
Assign a Crew or Employee: Select an individual employee or a crew to carry out the task.
Schedule the Date: Set the planned date for when the operation will take place.
Additional Notes: Add any extra details or instructions to clarify the task.
Proceed: Click “Next” to move on to crop and field selection.
Step 5: Define Crops, Fields, and Working Area
Select Crops: Choose the specific crops that will receive the operation.
Choose Fields: Pick the fields where the operation will be executed.
Set the Working Area: Specify the area (e.g., out of a total of 45 hectares, you might select 15 hectares) that will be involved in the operation.
Move Forward: Continue by selecting “Next” to set the operation’s start and end times.
Step 6: Set the Operation Timing
Define Time Frames: Set the starting and ending times for the operation (for example, start at 6 a.m. and end at 9 a.m.).
Additional Field Options: You can add more fields if required or proceed to the next step.
Step 7: Specify the Inputs from Inventory
Select Inputs: On the inputs page, choose the items from your inventory that will be used during the operation.
Set Parameters: For each item, specify the unit, rate, and concentration.
Additional Items: Add more items as needed before reviewing the overall details.
Step 8: Review Operation Details
Verification: Carefully review every detail of the operation to ensure that all settings (operation name, assignee, crops, fields, working area, timing, and inputs) are correct.
Confirm: Once everything is verified, proceed by selecting “Create Operation.”
Step 9: Create and Track Your Operation
Creation: The operation will be assigned and scheduled directly from IDI.
View Details: After creation, you can view all the operation details including its current status (which initially will be “to do”).
Real-Time Tracking: Monitor the progress of the operation in real time, and receive alerts and notifications upon completion.
